Anna Hästbacka
Competition rider / horse trainer
Anna Hästbacka is a highly accomplished and dedicated national team show jumper and trainer, with a clear focus on each horse’s development, wellbeing and long-term soundness. Her riding philosophy is based on softness, clarity and respect – allowing every horse to progress at its own pace, following a carefully thought-out plan.
After several years with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson in Germany, where she deepened her experience in producing competition horses at a high level, Anna has returned to the family farm in Västerljung. Her experience from, among other things, Youth European Championships, international arenas and national successes makes her a seasoned and reliable rider in the competition ring.
At Double-H Sporthorses AB, Anna works together with Thibaut Huyvaert to produce, train, compete and sell show jumpers. She ensures structure, quality and genuine care in every part of each horse’s daily life – from feed and routines to an individual, long-term development plan where the balance between training, recovery and variation is key.
As a trainer, Anna is calm, meticulous and attentive. She places great emphasis on the communication between horse and rider, and on giving each combination the tools to grow together – regardless of their level. The goal is always the same: that both horse and rider feel well, feel secure in the process and have the best possible conditions to perform when it really counts.
Thibaut Huyvaert
Competition rider / horse trainer
Thibaut Huyvaert is a dedicated and skilled rider in advanced show jumping, with a strong feel for producing horses in a soft, clear and effective way. With a well-balanced interplay of technique, timing and understanding, he develops confident individuals who dare to move forward and progress at their own pace.
Thibaut’s riding style is characterised by precision and calm. He has a natural ability to build trust in his horses, creating stability and security throughout their training. His work is defined by patience, attention to detail and a strong commitment to each individual’s unique potential.
As a national team rider, Thibaut brings experience from the international sport, including placings at the Young Horse World Championships and starts at the Youth European Championships in show jumping. He carries that experience into his daily work, producing and developing sport horses in a thoughtful and sustainable way.
As co-founder of Double-H Sporthorses AB, Thibaut contributes structure, experience and a professional, holistic perspective on the development of the sport horse. He always strives for sustainable results – where quality and wellbeing go hand in hand with performance.
Thibaut is appreciated by both horse owners and colleagues for his openness, sense of responsibility and straightforward communication. With a passion for the sport and a clear vision, he continues to shape the sport horses of the future together with Anna.
