Baula (SWB) – Balou du Rouet x Cardento
Baula is a high-quality SWB mare born in 2014, bred by Martin Linell and owned by Double-H Sporthorses. She is by Balou du Rouet out of the select mare Carna (by Cardento – Nurprimus), from a strong performance dam line with several relatives competing at 1.40–1.60 level in show jumping and eventing.
In the show ring, Baula has established herself internationally with starts and placings up to 1.45 m, including at Gothenburg Horse Show, Drammen and Azelhof. Together with Thibaut Huyvaert, she continues to progress at a high level, with a focus on sustainability, rideability and carefully planned development.
With her high breeding index in show jumping (146) and modern type, Baula is not only a highly accomplished sport horse but also a very interesting mare for future breeding.
